Mac users are snobs.
Or so says The Street.
A recent post over at TUAW made things easy for me. I had heard on a podcast that the pulled the US versions of Mac ads from British TV because people felt the Mac guy was kind of a pompous, self-satisfied ass. I kept meaning to look for an article to post because I find it all pretty funny. Besides, I already qualified for that category since I have a Prius.
From the TUAW post, per The Street, Mac owners are likely:
- to be perfectionists
- to use notebooks
- to use teeth whitening products
- to drive station wagons
- to pay for downloaded music
- to go to Starbucks
- care about “green” products and the environment
- to own a hybrid car
- and last but not least … to buy 5 pairs of sneakers in a year
Let’s see…check (kinda), check, check, never!, check, check, check, check and no (at least if you’re going to hold me to sneakers only).
Well, then. If the shoe fits…
PS - Here’s a direct link for the video. They don’t do embedding. Hmph.
PPS - Justin Long is just too cute.
